The National Institutes of Health plans to add more vendors to a potential $20 billion small business set-aside contract vehicle that covers information technology support services for NIH and other federal agencies.
NIH said March 14 in a FedBizOpps notice it will accept proposals from companies who aim to win positions on the agency’s Chief Information Officer-Solutions and Partners Small Business governmentwide acquisition program through April 18.
The agency indicated it will only consider offers that have been submitted via its EPIC website.
NIH initially awarded 10 small-business positions under the potential 10-year program in May 2012 and later increased to 94 the number of vendors who will compete for CIO support, integration, imaging, outsourcing and operations and maintenance orders.
