Andover, Massachusetts-based security system supplier Minuteman Security Solutions has landed a potential six-year, $24 million contract with options from the U.S. Army to deliver the Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System.
The Army Contracting Command received three bids for the firm-fixed-price contract through an Internet solicitation process, the Defense Department said Friday.
TICIDS is a standardized intrusion detection system designed to detect and assess unauthorized intrusions or attempted intrusions of protected areas and potentially provide 24-hour protection without increases to manpower.
Minuteman will carry out work through March 17, 2022.
The company develops and services security system technologies for clients in the fields of biotechnology, corrections, government, healthcare, transportation and public utilities.
