The General Services Administration has awarded Spaceflight a spot on the agency’s consolidated professional services contract vehicle, allowing the company to offer small-satellite launch services to the federal government.
Spaceflight said Wednesday agencies can request for quotations for microsat or cubesat launch service offerings from the company and place orders electronically via the GSA Advantage‘s eBuy online platform.
Curt Blake, president of Spaceflight, said the company has previously helped NASA and the U.S. Air Force launch satellite payloads into space.
The company has deployed 81 small satellites to date.
GSA added Spaceflight to its Professional Services Schedule after the agency conducted a rigorous assessment on the firm’s portfolio.
Seattle-based Spaceflight provides satellite infrastructure, rideshare services and global communications networks to government and commercial organizations globally through a network of partners, ground terminals and rocket manufacturers.
