Salesforce Unveils Industries AI - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Salesforce has launched a set of more than 100 customizable artificial intelligence capabilities across 15 industry cloud environments to enable customers to deploy AI tools and automate industry-specific business tasks.

The company said Monday Industries AI includes industry-specific data models, prebuilt prompts and related capabilities supported by the Einstein Trust Layer and Data Cloud platform.

The new Salesforce offering will serve as the foundation for building Agentforce agents designed to help customers improve workflows.

Industries AI capabilities that will be generally available in October include Application History and Version Comparison for Public Sector Solutions, Complaint Summaries for Financial Services Cloud and Patient Services & Benefits Verification for Health Cloud.

Vehicle Telemetry Summary for Automotive Cloud, Assets Service Summary for Manufacturing Cloud and Inventory Check for Consumer Goods Cloud are the capabilities that will be fully launched in February.

Kristin Ruiz, deputy chief information officer at the Transportation Security Administration, said the TSA sees the value of partnering with organizations like Salesforce to advance the adoption of AI and other new technologies.

“We see the potential of AI to help enrich security efficiency and facilitate better passenger experiences by assisting skilled officers in enhancing security standards. And because our ultimate goal is to protect our nation’s transportation system from emerging threats, we are investing heavily in testing to ensure that AI can be used safely, ethically, and responsibly to promote adoption and reduce the risk of AI-based threats,” added Ruiz.

Ruiz will be part of a panel discussion at the Potomac Officers Club’s 2024 Homeland Security Summit. Register now to join this key event on Nov. 13.
