NuAxis Innovations has received a contract to help the Internal Revenue Service update agency communications platforms and standards.
As part of the award, NuAxis will provide engineering and program management support to the IRS Office of User and Network Services, the company said Wednesday.
The Tysons, Virginia-based contractor will work with the office to design voice communications systems and update a virtual relay service intended for persons with hearing problems.
IRS’ award comes after NuAxis announced its joint venture with Makpar will provide enterprise service desk support to the Department of Labor under a blanket purchase agreement. NTT Data will act as the JV’s subcontractor on the project.
