Clarifai plans to drive international expansion, develop new artificial intelligence technologies and grow its AI community through the $60 million investment it secured during a New Enterprise Associates-led Series C funding round.
The AI platform provider said Friday it now has a total funding of $100 million following the close of the financing round, which was participated by new and existing investors including Corazon Capital, LDV Capital, Menlo Ventures and CPP Investments.
According to the company, it will use the recent investment to recruit additions to its sales, marketing and engineering workforce as it continues to deliver AI capabilities to customers.
Clarifai offers Spacetime Search, Scribe Automated Data Labeling and Flare Edge AI in addition to Natural Language Processing, audio recognition and other capabilities.
Matthew Zeiler, founder and CEO of Clarifai, said the new round of funding will enable the company to sustain its momentum by expanding its team and portfolio.
Union Square Ventures, Lux Capital, NYU Innovation Venture Fund, NextEquity Partners, SineWave Ventures and Trousdale Capital were the other fundraising participants.
