GovOS, a Kofile company that offers digital transformation services to local governments, has inaugurated its new headquarters in Austin, Texas, in an effort to establish its base of operations in the area.

Kofile said Wednesday the new company space is also aimed at moving closer to a pool of technology talents and software industry executives, and ensuring that the business is in the proper environment as it eyes to achieve its growth goals in the coming years.

The GovOS base located at 8310 N Capital of Texas Highway is an addition to the company’s current offices in Dallas, New York and North Carolina.

“Establishing this new headquarters in northwest Austin will give us the home base we need to expand and meet the needs of our customers while inspiring us to continue pushing the limits of innovation for government technology,” said Kevin Lafeber, president of GovOS.

The company noted that it is looking to expand its Austin workforce by the end of the year to 100 employees and include positions that will help in development and customer missions.

Kofile announced in February its plans to develop the new business unit intended to support the company’s initiatives to streamline the document services division and help the citizen engagement and organizational processes of government clients.
