Bluescape has been authorized to provide its visual collaboration platform to defense personnel as part of the company’s Impact Level 4 authority to operate agreement with the Department of Defense.

The company said Monday its new IL4 ATO supports the Naval Systems Engineering Resource Center’s efforts to provide DOD personnel with access to the latest commercial technology and allows employees with Naval Sea Systems Command NSERC account to access the Bluescape platform for collaborative work across the department.

The platform serves as a medium for video conferencing, information sharing and other collaborative activities that can be performed digitally.

“As the DOD continues to modernize, we are excited to have received an ATO for the new NSERC environment, which includes cloud applications that can be built and deployed across the entire DOD,” said Bob Simmons, NSERC program manager at NAVSEA.

Tyler Laverick, CEO of Bridge Core, a Bluescape partner, said the software enables users to view controlled unclassified information and other types of content in a single, interactive platform.
