D-Fend Solutions is working with a Department of Defense office to develop technologies that will protect warfighters and civilians from enemy unmanned aircraft systems.
The company said Sunday it has been collaborating with the Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office to build and deploy EnforceAir counter-UAS technologies over the last 18 months.
EnforceAir underwent deployment at over 20 agencies and units of the Department of Defense, the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security in six months. The technology is designed to passively detect enemy drones and allow for multiple mitigation actions.
Federal entities that have deployed EnforceAir include the U.S. Army, U.S. Customs and Borders Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
“We are very proud to be working together with the U.S. CTTSO team, protecting U.S. soldiers and citizens,†said Zohar Halachmi, chairman and CEO at D-Fend Solutions.
