Sunflower Lab developed an asset tracking and management tool under a partnership with blockchain service provider Rubix.
Built using Java and Angular programming languages, BlockTrack works to help government contractors validate if their contract data complied with government standards through a set of dashboard indicators, Sunflower Lab said Thursday.
In addition, the tool may run via a mobile phone and has met government cloud service protocol Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program standards.
“The vision behind BlockTrack was to create a government-compliant platform built on top of the blockchain, one that would empower [Department of Defense] contractors to save considerable time managing their assets seamlessly and securely,†said Ronak Patel, CEO and founder of Sunflower Lab.
Sunflower Lab is an Ohio-based company that offers customized software development services.
