Raytheon has secured a potential five-year, $48.8M contract from the U.S. Army to provide engineering services for the Air Soldier System, which functions as the military branch’s aviation life support equipment.
Army Contracting Command received one bid for the cost-no-fee and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract via the internet and will provide funds and work locations with each order, the Department of Defense said Wednesday. DoD expects Raytheon to complete work by July 30, 2024.
The company designed and developed six components in the suite of integrated personal electronics for the system under a $5M contract the service branch awarded in 2012.
