Tecolote Research has won a potential $36.6M contract to support acquisition and financial operations at the U.S. Air Force's Space and Missile Systems Center.
The company will also support the SMC Remote Sensing Systems Directorate manage programs to acquire, develop, produce and maintain space-based technology platforms, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The service branch received six offers for the firm-fixed-price contract via a competitive procurement and obligated $6.1M in fiscal 2019 funds at the time of award.
Work will take place in  El Segundo, Calif., and is scheduled to conclude on Aug. 17, 2024.
SMC launched a competition for the contract and attracted six proposals.
