Rite -Solutions will provide engineering, program and technical support services for the U.S. Navy‘s submarine combat control systems under a potential five-year, $20.3M contract from the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport.
The company said Monday it will help the service branch further develop new tools for those platforms.
Contract work covers systems integration and evaluation, hardware and software engineering, laboratory and fleet support services.
“For the US Submarine Force and select allies, we will be studying new concepts and requirements, and supporting the development for these future systems as well upgrades and modifications for current systems in the fleet,” said Ken Haner, senior vice president and engineering services director at Rite-Solutions.
The company received a separate $49.6M contract last month to support NUWC’s information technology operations.
