The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking market information regarding weapons system parts for the Boeing-made Chinook twin rotor helicopter.
The agency said Thursday in a FedBizOpps notice that it intends to procure components of the helicopter’s weapons system from a qualified firm on a sole-source basis.
These components include rotating and controllable swashplates for the system’s ring assembly, as well as rear rotor shaft transmissions for the retainer assembly.
All types of small businesses may participate in the sourcing.
Responses are due on Dec. 30.
