Kratos Defense and Security Solutions has finished conducting multiple unmanned aerial target drone missions for its customers in the national security domain.
Kratos said Thursday it completed around 20 flights using the jet-powered autonomous systems during the multi-day exercise held at at various undisclosed locations.
Steve Fendley, president of Kratos’ unmanned systems division, said the company expects to see an increase in new and additional target drone aircraft deliveries following the demonstration of intercept flights and intentional kills.
Kratos develops, demonstrates and delivers unmanned aerial drones designed for tactical and force multiplication missions, as well as threat simulation and emulation, to support the weapons testing efforts of the U.S. and its allies.
