MAG Aerospace has moved its corporate headquarters from Sterling to Fairfax, Va., and aims to create 120 new jobs through its relocation and expansion efforts at the new site.
The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority said Tuesday that Gov. Ralph Northam approved a $500K Commonwealth’s Opportunity Fund grant to help the local government secure the project with MAG.
FCEDA noted the aviation firm is eligible to receive a tax credit, funds and services via the Virginia Jobs Investment Program for employee training efforts.
MAG will lease a 26,000-square-foot office on Fair Lakes Circle and will showcase business operations that support U.S. missions worldwide at the facility.
The company offers aerial intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance services to the defense sector.
