Lockheed Martin plans to house its cyber solutions team at a new facility within the Project Tech complex at Port San Antonio, Texas, beginning in early 2019.
The company said Friday a group of systems engineers, software developers and cyber architects will occupy more than 15,000 square feet of office space to develop and test cybersecurity technology platforms.
The team will work on the defense contractor’s Henosis offering for the Unified Platform development program.
“By increasing our investment in the area of cyberspace mission support, we are better-positioned to support the growing needs of organizations on or near the Port, such as the 24th and 25th Air Forces and the National Security Agency,” said Deon Viergutz, vice president of cyber solutions at Lockheed.
The company aims to expand its cyber business’ workforce to more than 100 professionals through 2023.
