Mark Garrett, former executive vice president and chief financial officer of Adobe, has joined Cisco‘s board of directors, bringing with him more than 30 years of experience in financial management in technology.
The networking hardware firm said Thursday it has selected 11 other executives to join its board of directors prior to appointing Garrett.
“Mark has lived the critical transformation and transition to the cloud that technology companies require to continue growing and evolving,” Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins said.
Prior to Adobe, Garrett served as the CFOÂ and senior vice president of Dell EMC for three years, and EVP and CFO of Documentum for one year before it was acquired by EMC.
He also assumed several executive and management roles in other technology companies for 23 years.
