KBR‘s government services business has received a 54-month, $34.1 million task order to provide engineering and analysis support for U.S. Air Force weapons systems as part of the service branch’s cybersecurity and air traffic safety efforts.
The company said Monday KBRwyle will support the engineering and communication network branch of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s engineering directorate in efforts to analyze systems, assess cybersecurity and develop cyber resiliency strategy
KBRWyle will also test and evaluate a component of the service branch’s Air Traffic Management/Identification Friend or Foe system against Defense Department and foreign military sales requirements.
Work will take place at the Wright Patterson and Warner Robins Air Force bases.
The task order was issued under the DoD Information Analysis Center’s Defense Systems Technical Area Task contract originally announced in June 2014.
The company has provided systems engineering and integration services for more than 135 U.S. military aircraft platforms to date and performed ATM/IFF certification analysis support for 30 years.
