Joshua Seckel, former chief of the applied technology division at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, has joined Sevatec as chief solutions architect for the company’s agile and DevSecOps practice.
He led USCIS’ efforts to transform and modernize information technology systems at the agency during his tenure there, Sevatec said Wednesday.
Seckel also has more than 20 years of experience managing software development projects for multiple Department of Homeland Security component agencies and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
“As a member of our I-Team, Josh will engage with both our Growth and Operations Teams to introduce strategies for Agile adoption and support enterprise modernization initiatives,” said Sevatec Chief Operating Officer Michael Dallara.
“I look forward to continuing to transition additional federal government agencies to modern IT delivery practices through Agile and DevSecOps best practices,” Seckel said.
His industry career has included positions at WhiteHawk CEC, Blackstone Technology Group, ManTech, CGI and IBM.
