Northrop Grumman presented its missile defense platform at the International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO that ran from Sept. 5 to 8 in Kielce, Poland.
The company said Thursday it showcased its integrated air and missile defense command and control system; Counter-Rocket, Artillery and Mortar platform; Integrated Battle Management System; and Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System.
Tarik Reyes, Northrop vice president of missile defense and protective systems, said the company seeks to build a local presence in Poland to foster relationships with customers and aid in-country business development efforts.
IBMS is designed to provide integrated planning and operations management functions that are connected through a cyber-secure network, while the IBCS integrated air and missile defense command-and-control system works to show a single, unambiguous view of the battlefield.
Northrop also exhibited its Citadel Enterprise Battle Command System that supports air and missile defense execution through an integrated command, control, communications, computers and intelligence platform.
In October 2016, Northrop signed a letter of intent with Polish state-owned defense firm Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa to establish a long term strategic partnership and study potential areas of industrial cooperation.
