Boeing has secured a potential $23.8 million contract modification to provide diminishing manufacturing source life-of-type parts for the U.S. Air Force‘s Integrated Battle Station.
The Defense Department said Friday Boeing’s defense, space and security unit will supply additional DMS LoT parts in support of the B-1B fleet.
The service branch received its first B-1 bomber aircraft equipped with a company-built Integrated Battle Station in January 2014.
Work under the modification is scheduled to finish March 31, 2019.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is the contracting activity and obligated fiscal 2015 procurement funds at the time of award.
