Lockheed Martin‘s rotary and mission systems business has received a $71.5 million undefinitized contract action modification to deliver electronic warfare equipment for the U.S. Navy‘s Virginia-class attack submarines.
The Naval Sea Systems Command obligated $34.6 million at the time of award from the service branch’s procurement, shipbuilding and conversion funds in fiscal years 2016 and 2017.
Work under the modification will take place in California, Maryland, New York and Virginia through April 2020.
The Navy expects to definitize the sole-source acquisition award by February 2018.
