TCOM has teamed up with the Maryland Commerce Department to demonstrate the company’s aerostat offerings, designed to help deliver maritime and border security for Australia and Southeast Asia, at the Avalon Air Show.
The company said Wednesday it presented the ISR applications of its 28M aerostat offerings designed to monitor areas with potential domain obstructions which disrupt manned aerial surveillance and ground-based surveillance operations.
TCOM’s 28M platform provides a capacity for customization with various payload configurations as well as portability to aid the accelerated launch and retrieval of deployed units.
The company added that its aerostat offerings may also support aerial and maritime surveillance in international waters and other maritime regions with conflict and potential threats as well as perform coastal and port border protection applications.
