PSC Announces 2017 Board, Executive Panel Members; Accenture’s John Goodman Re-Elected Chair - top government contractors - best government contracting eventThe Professional Services Council re-elected several executives and appointed new members to its 2017 executive committee and board of directors during its annual meeting held Thursday.

John Goodman, chief operating officer of Accenture’s federal services business; and Deb Alderson, president and CEO of Sotera Defense Solutions; were respectively re-elected as PSC’s chair and vice chair, the organization said Friday.

The trade group also re-elected Lexy Kessler, a partner at Aronson’s government contract services group, as treasurer and appointed Carey Smith, president of Parsons’ federal business, as secretary.

Goodman, Alderson and Smith are among the 16 executives from government technology and professional services companies that will join the organization’s 2017 executive committee, which includes five new members and 11 re-elected officers.

Other members of PSC’s 2017 executive panel include:

  • Dan Allen, chairman and CEO of Serco
  • Dan Helfrich, principal at Deloitte Consulting
  • DeEtte Gray, president of intelligence and security sector at BAE Systems
  • Greg Baroni, president and CEO of Attain
  • Jan Auman, president of international development services at Tetra Tech
  • Joe Martore, president and CEO of CALIBRE Systems
  • Julie Susman, president and CEO of Jefferson Consulting Group
  • Kathleen Flanagan, president and CEO of Abt Associates
  • Maria Proestou, president and CEO of Delta Resources
  • PV Puvvada, president of Unisys’ federal systems business
  • Teresa Carlson, vice president of worldwide public sector at Amazon Web Services
  • Trey Obering, an executive vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton

Allen, Alderson, Goodman, Puvvada, Obering, Smith are among the 26 executives that have been elected to serve for another three-year term on the PSC board of the directors, which includes eight new members and 18 re-elected board members.
