PAE and Vectrus‘ Vectrus Systems Corporation subsidiary have formed a joint venture to bid for the U.S. Army‘s Logistics Civil Augmentation Program V contract vehicle.
PAE said Tuesday Scott Welker, former deputy commander of the U.S. Army‘s Joint Munitions Command, will lead the PAE Vectrus JV as president.
Welker said the PAE Vectrus team offers experience in international contingency mission support with operations on all continents.
PAE CEO John Heller noted the company has a more than four decades of experience working on contractor augmentation programs for customers such as the U.S. Air Force, Canadian armed forces and the State Department‘s peacekeeping program in Africa.
Vectrus CEO and President Ken Hunzeker also noted the company’s work for the U.S. government in the Middle East, Antarctica, Asia and locations above the Arctic Circle.
LOGCAP V seeks services to help the Army meet operational requirements such as minor construction, refurbishment, wells maintenance, facilities management, laundry and food service operations, power generation services and others.
