Endeavor Robotics has reached an agreement to lease 35,000 feet of industrial space in Chelmsford, Mass. from real estate investment firm Calare Properties five months after the autonomous technology maker’s rebrand.
Calare said Monday the space at 19 Alpha Road is being retrofitted to serve as a robot design, development and integration facility.
Endeavor Robotics CEO Sean Bielat said the facility will support the company’s efforts to develop robots for U.S. warfighters.
Arlington Capital Partners acquired the former iRobot defense and security segment for $45 million and subsequently renamed the business Endeavor Robotics, GovCon Wire reported April 4.
Endeavor Robotics plans to move to the new location in November and employ more than 100 individuals there.
