Carrollton, Texas-based data center builder CyrusOne will construct  a new data hall at the company’s Phoenix campus in an effort to add 32,000 additional colocation square feet and six megawatts of power.
CyrusOne said Tuesday its Phoenix data centers work with cloud, internet and other companies that seek infrastructure to support applications and want to relocate in the area for safety purposes.
The data center also provides interconnection with other CyrusOne data centers across the country through the company’s National Internet Exchange platform, the company noted.
“We continue to build on our momentum in Phoenix to meet the hyper-speed, hyper-scale demands of our cloud, internet and enterprise customers,†said John Hatem, CyrusOne’s executive vice president of design, construction and operations.
