Information technology cybersecurity company Lazarus Alliance has been accredited to evaluate cloud systems for public clients as a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program Third Party Assessment Organization.
The 3PAO accreditation will allow the company to verify the security and control implementations utilized by cloud service providers to deliver cloud services to government customers, Lazarus Alliance said Tuesday.
“…For government agencies, these concerns can be even more sensitive since national security can be at risk and as the largest employer in the world, it goes way beyond that,” said Michael Peters, Lazarus Alliance CEO.
He added that the company will provide cloud cybersecurity and risk assessments to support CSPs in gaining a FedRAMP authority to operate.
Lazarus noted that the accreditation is in recognition for the company’s technical proficiency and international standards compliance experience
The firm is now authorized to conduct assessments for the federal agencies, healthcare, payment card, service providers, SysTrust/WebTrust, NERC CIP and advisors through the IT Audit Machine and Cybervisors.
