electronic health record EHRThe Defense Health Agency has awarded FCN a $10.4 million contract to provide maintenance services for Cisco-built infrastructure currently installed at DHA and U.S. military treatment facilities around the world.

The Defense Department said Monday the contract has a nine-month base transition-in period and four 12-month options and will include account management, subject matter training, non-standard report preparation and cybersecurity support.

DoD noted that existing Cisco hardware platforms deployed at military treatment facilities work to help clinicians secure personally identifiable information and monitor network traffic.

Subscriptions will be provided to Military Health System physicians, physician assistants, nurse case managers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, dentists and other medical providers, the department added.

Rockville, Maryland-based FCN is a woman-owned company that provides engineering, networking, storage, IT disaster recovery, enterprise application development consultation services and commercial-off-the-shelf products to federal government clients.
