A business unit of Comtech Telecommunications has been awarded $5.8 million in incremental funds to manufacture terminal hardware for the U.S. Army’s warfighter network infrastructure.
The company’s government solutions segment will supply Secret Internet Protocol Router and Non-secure Internet Protocol Router Access Point VSAT hardware to the Army under the order, Comtech said Wednesday.
This delivery order falls under the Army’s Global Tactical Advanced Communications Systems contract vehicle.
The office of the Army project manager for the Warfighter Information Network – Tactical provides funding for the procurement under the commercial satellite terminal program, Comtech said.
Comtech has already received $40.5 million in total funds for the hardware.
