The stability services contractor formerly known as Sterling Global Operations has adopted the new name of Janus Global Operations after acquisitions of three risk management and security services providers.
Janus Global said Tuesday it formed through the purchases of Janus Security International, SNE Special Projects and Tundra Security Afghanistan in an effort to expand global services in the stability operations market.
“Our rebranding to Janus Global Operations is part of our business plan to increase our global scalability and ensure a fully integrated capability for our clients,†said Dale Allen, vice president of commercial programs at Lenoir City, Tenn.-based Janus Global.
Janus Global has identified its strategic regions as North Africa, Central Africa, West Africa and Southwest Asia.
Alan Weakley, Janus Global’s president and chief operating officer, said the rebranded company will work to support clients amid regional instability and conflicts worldwide.
Janus Global will continue its operations and services in fields such as risk management, logistics and lifestyle management, munitions and environment for clients in the energy, public sector, commercial, industrial, mining, ports and maritime sectors.
