Aerojet Rocketdyne has appointed Arjun Kampani to serve as the company’s vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary beginning April 11.
Kampani, who previously held the same roles at General Dynamics‘ land systems unit, will bring almost 20 years of legal, advisory and business leadership experience in the aerospace and defense sector, Aerojet Rocketdyne said Wednesday.
Aerojet Rocketdyne CEO and President Eileen Drake said Kampani’s legal expertise will be an asset to the company’s growth strategy as it looks to help expand U.S. space exploration and missile defense capabilities.
Kampani has served as a lawyer for mergers and acquisitions at General Dynamics and worked at Anteon International, Thelen and Olshan Frome Wolosky.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in general English language and literature from the University of Michigan and a jurisprudence degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
