The Baker-Tetra Tech joint venture has landed a potential $50 million contract from the U.S. Navy for design and engineering services for the Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, Defense Department and other federal agencies.
The contract calls for the JV to provide multimedia environmental compliance engineering support services, including the preparation of studies, plans, reports, cost estimates and design documents, DoD said Monday.
Baker-Tetra Tech JV will also perform engineering work to comply with requirements in petroleum storage, oil spill preparedness, air and water quality as well as waste management.
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command awarded the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, architect-engineering contract through a competitive procurement via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, DoD added.
Work will primarily be done within NAVFAC Atlantic’s area of responsibility in the continental U.S. and at Navy and other DoD installations worldwide by March 2021.
DoD said task orders will be funded through Navy operations and maintenance funds.
