William Varner serves as ManTech International’s president and chief operating officer of mission, cyber and intelligence solutions group.
Varner was the vice president, corporate officer and executive director of intelligence operations unit at Northrop Grumman–TASC between July 2004 and September 2009 before joining ManTech.
He previously served as division director at TASC from June 1978 to January 2004.
At TASC, Varner’s team achieved the Capability Maturity Model Integration level 5 certification in software development.
Prior to joining TASC, Varner worked as a technical staff member at ESL Inc.
He graduated from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
