Autodesk has entered into the compliance process to certify Autodesk A360, Autodesk BIM 360 Glue and other cloud products and services for federal agency use as part of the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
The company said Thursday it has received an “in process” ranking through its work with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
“By following the FedRAMP compliance procedures, we’re ensuring our people will have access to first-class cloud design and engineering tools once we achieve FedRAMP compliance,” said Jason Fairchild, head of the Building Information Modeling community of practice at USACE.
Autodesk noted that its previous work with USACE covers compliance of engineering programs with industry standards such as BIM.
