MAXIMUS will deliver the U.K. department for work and pensions’ Work Program to North East Yorkshire and the Humber beginning Feb. 2, 2015, as part of a performance-based contract potentially worth $14 million.
MAXIMUS CEO Richard Montoni said Thursday that the company works to support government welfare reform programs by providing personalized assistance to job seekers in the region.
The Work Program aims to transition unemployed individuals off benefits into securing long-term employment and measures provider performance based on sustained employment and job retention.
MAXIMUS said it is also the Work Program provider in the Thames Valley, Hampshire, West London and the Isle of Wight.
