The analyst has published a new report that it said Wednesday looks at the market’s prospects from 2013 to 2018, factors that could spur growth, top vendors in the field and the challenges they could encounter during the period.
According to the analysis, among the market trends is an increase in demand for transition devices that can accommodate both legacy systems and current mobile broadband tools.
Research and Markets identified various applications for the technology – vehicle surveillance, medical telemetry, GIS, natural calamity and disaster management, and video surveillance – for use in both the private and public sectors.
