YouTube has introduced a channel for U.S. government organizations and officials to upload videos and engage citizens about issues of national interest
The YouTube for Government site is designed to share explainer videos as well as live streams of congressional hearings and State of the Union addresses with the public, according to a Google Politics blog post by Brandon Feldman.
The video-sharing portal offers tips on how public-sector users can create their own channels, annotations and playlists.
It also features case studies from international government agencies that use YouTube to connect with their constituents.
