The Department of the Army has posted a sources sought notice for small businesses keen on providing technical services for asymmetric threat solutions.
Work for the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Asymmetric Warfare Group, will occur at Fort Meade in Maryland, Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia and in areas of operations, DA indicated in the FedBizOpps notice Monday.
AWG, as the operational arm of TRADOC, is a special missions unit of the Army tasked to increase troop survivability and combat effectiveness by assessing emerging threats and developing solutions and countermeasures to defeat them.
Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Fort Eustis will receive responses to the notice—to be used to determine the extent of the contract award and other acquisition details—until Nov. 5.
