Oracle has released a new data management product that works to help life sciences organizations analyze, process and integrate large volumes of data from clinical trials.
The Health Sciences Data Management Workbench platform is built to operate with an Oracle-designed life sciences data hub and automatically gathers multi-source study findings, Oracle said Monday.
Steve Rosenberg, senior vice president and general manager at Oracle’s health sciences business, said the company aims for researchers to manage trial cycle times and gain medical insights by using its technology.
Oracle developed the software to pool clinical trial reports from laboratories, pharmaceutical and data capture systems as well as to correct discrepancies that could affect research validity.
The platform is also designed to integrate with Oracle’s InForm enterprise-grade workflow management system.
