Kevin Bell, a former business development representative and sector lead executive at Northrop Grumman, has been named its corporate lead executive for Dayton, Ohio, including the U.S. Air Force facilities in the region.
The company said Monday Bell will report to Timothy Jones, vice president for aviation and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
“[Bell] understands the challenges that our customers are facing and is well-known locally having supported Northrop Grumman business in this area for the past eight years,” said Jones.
Bell previously served in the Air Force for 26 years before retiring as assistant to the Aeronautical Systems Center commander at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton.
He has worked on acquisition for the service under the Office of Military Cooperation-Afghanistan, KC-767 Aerial Refueling Tanker Lease Program and F/A-22 Fighter Aircraft Engine Program.
