Wyle will compete for task orders with 11 other companies to perform research and technical analysis work for the U.S. military’s homeland defense and security programs under a potential five-year, $900 million contract.
The Defense Department‘s Information Analysis Centers Enterprise selected the contractors to help update existing military systems and develop new technology through science and engineering work, Wyle announced Tuesday.
The Homeland Defense & Security Technical Area Tasks contract covers areas such as weapons of mass destruction, biometrics, health, cultural studies and alternative energy.
