Steven John Norris has been elected to join the board of directors at Cubic Corp. to provide his insights on transport and infrastructure issues.
Norris, a previous member of Cubic Transportation Systems’ strategic advisory board, will also serve in the company’s nominating and corporate governance committee, Cubic announced Tuesday.
Norris is a businessman based in the United Kingdom and had served as a government minister for transport.
“[Norris] has extraordinary transport and infrastructure policy expertise, and we are delighted that he is joining Cubic’s board of directors,†said Walter Zable, Cubic executive chairman of the board.
“He brings a wealth of international experience from his career in public service, as well as the insights that come from a successful business career,†Zable added.
Norris joins the company’s other board directors which include William Boyle, Bruce Blakley, Edwin Guiles, Robert Sullivan and John Warner Jr.
