Dell and DataMotion have partnered to offer an email encryption service to Dell’s enterprise customers, Beta News reported Tuesday.
Ian Barker writes DataMotion’s email encryption tool will be available to users of the SonicWALL email security service, acquired by Dell in 2012, under the partnership.
“We were very focused on partnering with a cloud-based email encryption solution that offered the best end-user experience on both desktop and mobile platforms,” Patrick Sweeney, executive director of product management at Dell, told Beta News.
The alliance aims to help customers protect confidential data and comply with regulations through scanning, management and email encryption, according to the report.
