Informatica Corp. is working to help outsourced development services provider ICON Plc handle clinical trials and process data by using a multidomain master data management tool.
ICON views information and works to unlock value by using the Informatica MDM service in order to execute clinical trial planning, services and reporting, Informatica said Thursday.
Andrew Thompson, vice president of technology at ICON, said the company implements Informatica MDM to monitor the trials process and develop operations.
The technology works to provide centralized view for investigators and sites across clinical trials management domains for ICON to analyze performance outcomes, track site enrollment and detect non-performing sites.
Dennis Moore, SVP and general manager of MDM at Informatica, added that the company aims to deliver a single view the clinical trials program for life sciences organizations.
