CloudBees has moved to extend the reach of its continuous delivery platform by joining the Verizon cloud engine, Virtualization Review reported Wednesday.
John Waters writes the CloudBees delivery platform is built for developers to deploy applications and update Web and mobile apps.
The Belgium-based company offers the DEV@cloud service for developers to test apps in cloud environments and the RUN@cloud for deploying applications to the cloud, according to the report.
CloudBees intends for users to develop tools with the CloudBees platform and the Java-based Jenkins integration server, the report says.
Waters writes CloudBees also wants the platform to meet demands for reducing feedback loops in the development cycle.
The platform offering is also available through the Google App Engine, Amazon Web Services Elastic Beanstalk and Cloud Foundry, Virtualization Review reports.
