Rockwell-collins - ExecutiveMosaicJames Walker has been appointed to serve as the vice president and managing director of the Asia Pacific operations of Rockwell Collins, the company said Monday.

Walker previously served as CEO of AutoCRC Ltd. and was CEO of QMI Solutions Ltd. earlier in his career.

“Jim brings a unique combination of regional business acumen, geopolitical savvy and seasoned leadership experience to Rockwell Collins,” said Colin Mahoney, Rockwell Collins senior vice president for international and service solutions.

Walker is a 25-year aerospace and defense industry veteran and will report directly to Mahoney in his new role.

Walker served for 15 years in the Royal Australian Air Force in roles that included commanding officer of joint communications and deputy director of space intelligence and communications.
