Telos Identity Management Solutions has been selected by Maryland’s Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport to provide a web-based platform for managing background checks of aviation workers.
The Telos Designated Aviation Channeling system is used at U.S. airports to screen applicants for baggage handling, ground maintenance and terminal food and retail areas, the company said Tuesday.
Mark Griffin, president of Telos ID, said the platform is built with features to support airports’ vetting and badging functions.
The DAC system works to secure personal information and is designed to comply with data protection requirements set by the Transportation Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security.
