The U.S. Navy tasked DCS to develop air traffic control and landing systems for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division's Webster Outlying Field organization as part of a five-year, $29 million contract. The company said Wednesday it started working with WOLF personnel under the Technical, Engineering Products and Software Services contract in December and the team will develop, integrate, test, manage and maintain air traffic control systems over the duration of the award.

Steve Escaravage, a senior vice president and head of the analytics practice and artificial intelligence services business at Booz Allen Hamilton, said the U.S. has experienced leadership in other technology areas but could lose its edge in AI if it fails to take action in response to the call made in the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence’s final report, Nextgov reported Tuesday. The General Services Administration is seeking information on the availability of software-as-a-service platforms that could help the agency's security operations division establish a bug bounty program. GSA looks to partner with a SaaS vendor and obtain access to a network of security researchers who can uncover technical issues across the agency's web-based information technology applications, according to a sources sought notice posted Tuesday.
